Planet Welcomes Shawna Wolverton as Chief Product Officer
I’m excited to welcome Shawna Wolverton to Planet as our Chief Product Officer!
Shawna joins Planet from Salesforce where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Product Management. Shawna was at Salesforce for 14 years, contributing to their growth from fewer than 300 employees to its scale today. Shawna was key to the cloud computing giant’s platform and user interface development.
Shawna’s leadership and experience will play a critical role as we develop our platform to enable users to get the answers they need from Planet’s unique data set.
Since Planet’s founding, we’ve continually set goals that many said were impossible. We’ve met and exceeded these goals because we hire people who are committed to our mission and are the best at what they do. The addition of Shawna to our executive team continues this tradition and we look forward to her leadership as we further productize our geospatial information and services.
