New Lab: Coverage Tool
It’s often useful to have a broad view of the coverage of Planet Labs data, even when not looking for a specific scene to download.
For this use case of showcasing Planet Labs’ data coverage, we’re excited to share a new lab — the Coverage Tool.
Using this tool, you can explore a map of the scene data coverage that your account has access to, filtered by any span of time and geography. There are also thumbnails of the most recent scenes as example imagery, which link to the Scenes Explorer to make it easy to find sample images, and start digging into the data available.
